Motivational speaker Jim Rohn famously said that we are the
average of the five people we spend the most time with.
When it comes to relationships, we are greatly influenced —
whether we like it or not — by those closest to us. It affects our
way of thinking, our self-esteem, and our decisions. Of course,
everyone is their own person, but research has shown that we're
more affected by our environment than we think.
Let's take a look at this philosophy and how you can use it to
be happier, healthier, more successful and generally a better
person in the coming year.
This week we will discuss a few reasons that the five people
who get the majority of your time should be put in your innermost
circle with purpose, not by accident.
- Your intellect will be stimulated.
- Your opinion of yourself might drastically improve.
- You might gain a mentor, or become one.
- You will develop healthier habits, and that means looking and
feeling better every day.
- You will attract someone positive, amazing and conscientious
about all of the above
Do an assessment of the people you spend the most time with.
Are you lifted up, feel safe or just want to escape?
When you're surrounded by the right group of people and in a
good place within yourself, you have much to give back to them in
return. Together you can LIVE RICH
