Do you remember when you were a child and life's smallest
moments could engage and delight you in the most enchanting way? I
believed in magic, angels, and fairies when I was a small girl, and
I still do. I remember playing in the yard in summer evenings
and pretending that fire flies were fairies. I would make a
wish on them, and most times my wish came true. Now as a small
child my wishes were the type of "ice cream for dessert or extended
bedtime", but they did come true. This is one of my favorite
childhood memories because it confirmed to me that magic does
exist.
By magic, I don't mean childish magical thinking or that all
of sudden we will be walking on water or changing water into wine,
although magic and miracles are closely related.
Remember when Glenda, the good witch from "The Wizard of Oz,"
said to Dorothy: "You had the power all along, my dear." That is
real magic - the power in us.
So, what is a Magical Life? It is where, despite all of your
struggles, lessons, challenges and moments of darkness you still
find joy and magic in life and the moment. Where you approach
life with a sense of wonderment, curiosity, enchantment, delight
and the playfulness and creativity of a child. Usually, magic
comes from the simplest of things and is free. We may be in
awe of a moment of synchronicity that the universe creates for
us. We see beauty in every living thing and this brings us
great delight - a baby smiling, a puppy playing or a lovely flower
that brings us joy. We experience more heavenly energies in our
daily lives.
This we we go on that magical mystery tour of life!
